A salt cell needs to be cleaned and inspected every 3 months to prevent shortening its life.
- Soak cell in muriatic acid solution to remove calcium deposits
- Rinse and inspect cell
- Lube cell o-rings and test operability
- Independant salt level test
- Indpendent conditioner level test
A salt cell's life expectancy is 3 - 5 years.
